Am 1. Mai waren wir zur Zuchtschau des DTK (Deutscher Teckel Klub) in Bad Bevensen, wir wollten einfach unsere Rieke mal wieder vorführen.
On May 1st we showed our little dachshound (german: Teckel) at an exhibition of German Dachshound Club (DTK) at Bad Bevensen.
Rieke trat aufgrund ihres Alters natürlich bei den Veteranen an.
Der Richter war vom sehr guten Allgemeinzustand von Rieke mit ihren immerhin nun fast 10 Jahren sehr angetan, die tollen Zähne, das gute Gewicht....und dann die Freude, sich mit Frauchen im Ring zu präsentieren...alles ganz toll ... 1.Platz.
Dafür gab es dann auch im Ehrenring nochmal viel Lob, und eine Hermann Löns Plakette und eine Urkunde.
Ein toller Nachmittag.
The judge was very astonished to see in how good shape Rieke is with her nearly 10 years of age, not only she has absolute good overall condition, but also her weight fits well, and he praised her teeth status (though Rieke already lost one at the veterinary some years ago)....
She moved well with Sabine in the showring, always with a look up to her, she really wanted to please her (as a real good retriever would). So nice to watch this.
At the end we made it up into the honour circle and received a small medal and certificate of honour.
What a great afternoon.
